Logline:  An Army Veteran and Navy Veteran recruit the kids in the neighborhood for a game of capture the flag that will give the winner the right to put up their flag every morning.

The Gist:  Capture The Flag is a film about an orphaned child named Cadet who struggles to find acceptance in a small Children's Home Community.  He is befriended by an old Army Veteran who is at odds with an old Navy Veteran that lives across the street.  

The Veterans challenge each other to a game of capture the flag, winner take all.  Sides are chosen as a group of rag-tag misfits join the game of capture the flag and the neighborhood is thrown into chaos as the game is played out.

When the dust settles, Cadet finds himself with much more than he started with including fond memories, friends and a family.  Capture The Flag explores the themes of honor, respect, love and commitment and that no one is ever alone in this world.

Capture the Flag is based on a 11 minute short film called Reveille produced and directed by Adam and Donovan Montierth. “Reveille”, starred veteran actors David Huddleston from such films as “The Big Lebowski” and “Blazing Saddles” and James McEachin from such films as “Play Misty For Me” and the “Perry Mason Mysteries” and went on to 18 US film festivals and won awards at 8 of them.

Reveille screened for the troops on the Airbase in Balad, Iraq for the week of July 4th in 2004. It also played in select U.S. Armed Forces Bases in California the same week. On Veteran's Day it played in the city of Santa Clarita Veteran's Day Service in 2004.  The film was also screened for a week at the San Monica 6 Theatres for Academy Award Consideration in August 2004 for the Live Action Short film category.

Reveille has been located on Google Video Since June 1, 2006 and has been viewed over 400,000 times as of July 31, 2006 and has a solid rating of 4 stars out of 5. On July 20, 2006, Brothers' Ink Productions signed a contract allowing the Armed Forces Network and The Pentagon Channel to run Reveille on their networks for Veteran's Day 2006, Memorial Day 2007, Flag Day 2007 and Independence Day 2007. They have a combined audience of over 1 million viewers.
